This is a super tasty dish for dinner parties, great served as part of a sharing feast/mezze style meal. Full of flavour & best served straight from the pan when still warm & delicious.
Ingredients
1 block halloumi, sliced
1 lemon, juice & zest
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp honey
A few sprigs of thyme
A pinch of red chilli flakes
Sea-salt & black pepper
Method
Lay out the slices of halloumi into a dish. Add all of the ingredients listed and stir to evenly distribute & cover the halloumi. Leave aside to marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Heat a griddle pan, then add the halloumi slices and cook over a medium heat until golden.
